What's the matter Bob,,,****ty Day at work??I don't use P.B.A. ammo everyday, for one it's still a little too expensive, and like Eddie said it's a nice change once in a while. I had some Weapon's Tech,. training while I was in the Army, and everything that Eddie said was, and is correct. The Gamo lead/free round has indeed a gold-jacket, which act's as a barrier between the steel rifling, and the lead/free alloy. You could fire these off all day, and do absolutely no damage whatsoever to the steel rifling of your barrel. Try firing off into a soft backstop, and check the rifling mark's left on the spent pellet,The alloy being used is Silver in colour, while the jacket is Gold, so it would be pretty easy to see if the rifling left a score where the Silver could be easily seen. I've yet to see any of the gold coating worn down enough to see silver, or any of the gold "flake" off, even after pancakeing the pellet into steel plate. So, Do a little "R&D" before spoutin' off like that, It's not very Nice.
