Tuning the B4-2A for Pesting ???

I've tried numerous searches but didn't find the info I'm looking for so I'll ask.. I have B4-2A underlever in .22 cal.. I wanted to tune this up for pesting since using my .223 or .22-250 would be a no no in my area. I have a BAD squirrel and skunk problem darn things are wrecking the place.. Also the Raccoons are nasty as well but I don't want to be shooting at coons with an airgun so I'll stick to the smaller guys.

Anyways, what would be a good spring to install in this thing to bring the velocity up alot? I know it will make the shooting more harsh but like I said, i'm worried about dime size shot groups at long range.. 40 yards maximum is what it will be used for. What are you guys getting out of your B4-2A for chrony readings? Any other mods to do to increase reliability or longevity? I'm not sure how these rifles hold up after modifying them..

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Frank
