I am not really into airguns big, but I bought a Beeman GS 950 last year for pest control. I am not really very pleased with the accuracy, it has never lived up to what I feel this gun is capable of from the research I have done on the net. I have quite a few rifles that will shoot very well, and I can also shoot my fathers RWS springer well also, so I don't think it is me.
I have looked down the bore several times, but always from the breech end. Last night I looked down from the muzzle end and was unpleasantly suprised. About 1/2" from the crown there are some bad machine marks in the barrel. Is this something Beeman should take care of? It has probably been over a year, and I don't have my receipt any more, but it seems as if it should fall under their materials and workmanship clause? Or should I chuck it up in the lathe and cut it down and put a new crown on it?
