I have recieved this message from Keith Thomas;

'To you all,

No easy way to put this but Martin Steven's is very poorly.

I had a phone call at work this morning from Steve, his son in law, to say that Martin has cancer and has only a short time left.

What a shock.

Steve does not want any contact made with the family as yet.

I will let you all know if anything changes. Sorry to deliver such sad news but I am as shocked as everyone else is.

This is the e mail I never wanted to send.

Martin passed away at 5pm tonight. He had taken a turn for the worse earlier in the day. His immediate family were with him when he died.

I don't know what else to say apart from sorry to tell you this by E mail.

I will let you know when the funeral arrangements are.
