I want to try my hand at bootlegging - I've got "cracked" copies of Acid/Pro Tools/Cubase, but I'm a total mong when it comes to working out how to use them. Anybody out there know where I can download their manuals/pass on any tips on how to use them etc.
Incidentally if anyone wants copies of them and stays/works in Glasgow they can have them gratis.

I found that you just need to fuck around for a bit, everything you do at first will sound a bit shit but you will start to get to grips with things. If you need a copy of the acid manual you can download one at the sonic foundry website http://www.sonicfoundry.com

have fun

please - i mentioned this before - respect the fact that this is not a board for the searching or promotion of pirate software.

i loathe the idea of having to censor or delete any message, but network 54 may shut the message board down if people use this board for swapping cracked software, and i will delete any inappropriate messages to stop this from happening.

A good source for all stuff related to these packages and more is Computer Music magazine http://www.computermusic.co.uk/main.asp

They are anti piracy and should be able to point you toward freware and cheap software that is legal and will let you do what you want.

I'm pretty experienced in music technology and I wouldn't recommend full versions of packages like Cubase and Pro Tools to a beginner (even if they're 'free').
