comments please, its available at: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sean.slingsby

also updated a little opp to make it faster = better.

As for TTT, I'd like comments. I'm making a remix of it, which should be more interesting as I get bored with bootlegs that are just acapella over instrumental...

Personally with this tune I think that the songs are out of time slightly, and possibly out of tune. I also curse Destiny's Child for doing only 2 verses and filling the last minute and a half of there song with the same chorus about 6 times... luckily as I wont be following the natural course of the songs as close in the remix this wont be an issue, plus using samples etc.

Anyway, welcoming anyones professional opinion on my second bootleg.

Great effort - you made it harder on yourself by choosing songs to fit together to make a nice title rather than ones that would definitely fit well together.

Well done.

As much as this mammoth interest does wonders for my confidence and inspires me to go ahead and try more bootlegs, I'd like to hear from more people.

Come on, only 2 downloads? At least give it a try, even if its bad, at least I can learn.
I just want to hear what everyone thinks about the song, the way its put together - is it out of tune, time, etc.

ps: Thanks to the two that did give comments!

ok u wanted it...

"is it out of tune, time"
yeap its in time (well as much as any of mine r)
in tune ...umm not sure about that, have a tinker with it

nothing wrong with the boot, it just dosn't do it for me, something to do with not really liking the 2 songs used.

one thing that might improve it is if it had some high and low points in the mix as its hard to tell whats what ie whats the verse and chorus.

Like I say theres not that much wrong with it, just my taste (and that's nowt to worry about:) ).

keep going and let us have the next one

just had a listen 2 ur liberty x one and its much the same with that one:

sound slightly out of tune and could do with breaking up a bit ie its pretty much the same loop from start 2 finish, if you can't find another part of the backing track 2 use make something up from what u have ie chop the last bar of the verse so that there is a break b4 the chorus or play around with that last bar so that it builds, cut it into 4 sections and mix them up and put a cymble sample on the first beat of the verse and chorus, there r lots of things u can do its just a case of trying ideas out.

Im not being negative, just trying 2 help, these things come with experience and I'm sure that will come along with the more u do.

Hope it helps anyway.

Yikes totally forgot about this thread!

Thanks for the tips about my 2 boots, I get what you mean about them being repetetive etc.

With my first booties though I was concentrating more on at least trying to get the two vaguely to fit together, and work from there.
As I've said, I get pretty bored with most songs that just lay an acapella over some instrumental/couple of samples (as mine do) and unfortunately I chose quite poor original tracks I guess in terms of containing varying parts.

Will get to work on something more interesting in a bit.

Cheers for the comments (you too tom tom thanks :D)
