OF course, the MHRA still haven't done so. And the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services and their "professional" psychiatrists carry on trying to seduce schools and police forces into their "Push Ritalin on UK School Children" campaign.
THE GOOD NEWS IS....
that most of us ordinary people are likely to take instant notice of a very popular and well respected huge chain of food stores. We vaguely feel we kind of 'know' them, we shop in them - they are 'connected' to us in a way distant government or psychiatric agencies are not. INSTANT awareness. And its more likely to 'sink in'. Just like people have a tendency to 'listen' more to healthy school food information for children from Jamie Oliver than from a government agency - if gov agencies ever cared enough to issue healthy school food info that is.
THE BAD NEWS IS ...
for the ADHD drug industry (Novartis makes Ritalin), the MHRA and also for the "psychiatrists" in Ritalin pushing agencies like the CAMHS.
It should be interesting to see how the pharmaceutically-funded MHRA and all its "stakeholders" handle what must be about to pose an EXTREMELY sticky situation for them
Somehow I don't see the Sainsbury family being open to industrial or political backhanders or threats.
The UK needs more Sainsburys-style action. Well known figures and 'popular' companies/business/corporations making a stand. Fast, instant public awareness and protection and a REAL, valuable, contribution to life and the future of our children.
