Okay, so to summarize, the school has decided your kiddo should be tracked into job training (and probably you're wondering -- or maybe you know -- what kinds of other kids are in there... yes, it can be a tough crowd though it isn't always; sometimes tough enough I wouldn't send my enemies there, much less someone I cared about.)
Regulations as far as special education, and homeschooling in general, are different from state to state.
