I got to read part of the article at the gym (read while riding the bike lol) and it gave me so much food for thought! I really realized that my younger son (BPI, GAD) has more AS characteristics than I had thought. He has some issues with processing his language, but otherwise is a chatterbox and makes eye contact fine, but the tendencies are definatly there. I had worked with AS and Autistic kids for a while, so I kinda already knew, but didn't realize the depth of it. I think I need to get to the store today and get a couple copies myself. It would be a good resource for our support group.
So have they back off the BP dx for Matt? I hope so. BP isn't the end of the world, but it sure is challenging. His response to the cover story is cute. I didn't realize he was your baby.
(((((hugs))))) Keep on trucking Mom!
