I have had a problem of the same sort with my boys. We just found stuff they wanted to read. Right now my 8yo reads comics and boystuff. This is the advice I was given years ago. Also I will get him to do readers more easily if we take turns reading. I have to sit with him and do it or it does not get done. He has done 7 readers this year and for him that is astonishing.Good luck I hope this helps, I KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING THIS IS. I also have a13 yo adhd boy.
