First id like to SLAP myself for forgetting my Camcorder as always rushing to the airport...but in my own defense i stayed up all damn night tryna do my best to be as sleeeeepy as possible and prepare for the 2hr..flight from NYC to ATL then after a 1hr gap..14hrs onward to NARITA airport for my week in TOKYO,JAPAN!!!
This actually was my 2nd trip...the first time i flew direct from from JFK 13 1/2hrs but only stayed in Tokyo for 24hrs for 1 show w/the imcomprable Christina Milian ...Yet i still had a great time then and have been trying so hard to get back to Japan. Well this trip i planned on making the best of it. I still had good links with my Homie from Tokyo who was a club promoter but this time i was in route with my team for 2 shows with BOBBY V...and 2 nights of club rockin for myself.
So where do i start....
Well how about the flight....For international flights over 7hrs there is NO BETTER way to fly then FIRST CLASS! and i recomend Delta Airlines for that...Especially if you have that Medallion status like ya boy!
There treatment is A CLASS!..Full recline on the Seating,All Leather and full of space. Only 2 seats with a triple length armrest to share,Your own TV with over 10 NEW movies to choose from,Free HBO,Music etc. A 4star 4 Course Meal served on Dishes with Silverware! No plastic fork/spoons or tv dinner trays!..and your tray table is NOT attached to the back of anyones seat so there is waaaay more than enough room even if the person in front of you leans there seat Alllll the way back!
13hrs and 40min Later after a great sleep and 2 meals the captain announces our decent into Japan...Grab the iPhone...i wanna see the country when we break clouds
The landing is smooth, the flight was great..Onward to the Hotel! Now Tokyo is about 1hr from the airport..if you ever go i really hope you have a friend there to pick you up like i did...if not then expect to pay about 200,000.00yen by cab too tokyo from Narita Airport! thats approx $200usd!
Where here...
Hotel Villa Fontaine located in the ROPPONGI district of Tokyo. I must say...Although i dont know the cost, the hotel was very nice. Very,Very clean and the staff were very, very helpfull and respectfull. Complete with a lil sofa and a pc located in the room with FREE internet,a window,t.v,a cool desk and frig...
and a bathroom with a Heated toilet seat and some mechanical lever that cleans ya ass (No Homo) as a bonus! Ha Haaaaaaaa!

Aiight back on track. That evening me and the fellas had Nothing to do somy homie had a party going on that he promotes every wed night at a club called Warehouse...So he had the vip on lock and bottles on deck...so we hit the town and got it poppin!
If you hit Tokyo on a wed night Roppongi is the place to be and WareHouse is the place to go. Nice cool spot that can hold about 4-500pp, 3 Bars with Top shelf drinks and a cool dance floor. 2levels and a Strip pole complete with dancers smack in the middle of the club!...dancers included.
Crazy Sound syatem with my homie DJ SUGI on of Japans TOP DJ's getting it crackin with Everything and more being played in the states. The NiteLife in Tokyo is something too see...Tons of things to do and it does not stop in roppongi! picture times square in nyc x5 with 30-40 blocks of clubs, bars and more.
***GoodNight***
Next day after waking up at damn near 3pm with a 14hr time (ahead) diffrence i still set out to see more of Japan, so my homie b.mo of Positive productions scooped up the team and we hit the area they call SHIBUYA! if shopping is ya thing here is where you want to be! So many high end shops it makes 5th ave in NY look like the l.a swap meet! Im so glad i was not here with my moms or any women for that matter otherwise it would have been a day of stop and go eeevery store! exclusive sneakers everywhere, high fashion, urban eeeverything!!!but dont get it twisted things arent cheap!!!!!!!!!!! and the U.S dollar is so garbage right now!!! 1000yen= $9.80cents just about so you do the math when i walked past a sneaker store that had an exclusive pair of jordans for 280,000.050yen!!!!!!
.Now after a day of shopping and seeing so many numbers trust your gonna be beat! So if going out at night is ya thing your gonna need at least 3hrs of sleep and a wake up call from the hotel because with that major time jump your body will sleeeeep!
That evening we bounced from the hotel about 1am heading for FUSSA..about a 40min drive from Roppongi we got to CLUB JELLY were i was playing a guest spot. I must say...walking in at damn near 3am and the spot still was poppin!
My homie Japan's own DJ BO had the spot poppin! and after my homie Kook got me those first 2 henny and coke's...Let's do it!
After about 3hrs the party was over but now its about 6:30am..walking outside its easy to see..the way Japan parties its easy to break day! But you get every dime worth of the entry and great drinks to match..and Yes the dj's in japan thus far that i met are on point for real!
Shout to my people at Uncut-Flava! There the truth! they know how to throw a good party and treat there crowd right!!!!!!!!!!! (www.uncut-flava.net)
There is alot to do on a Friday night in Tokyo but Uncut Fridays in Fussa is the way to go if you dont mind the small trip..but oh yeah its worth it in the am when you break day...I was too tipsy to take pics but there is this morning mist that just sits on the small hills and grass fields that early in the morning that is erie yet calming to see.
Now although im skipping a gang of things i gotta skip on to the final club..The biggest club in Tokyo, located in the area of Yokahama...The club is called YOKAHAMA BAY HALL and the event is called "Jewelz" hosted by my homie at positive productions. When i say these folks know how to throw a party........Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt i have been to parties in Vegas and Allstar weekend that couldnt f*ck with this spot! Doors open at 10pm and close at 7am and i promise you this...i cant vouch for any other night besides this one but on this night at least 70% of the club broke day and left the club at closing time at 7am!
Black,Latino's and Asian's All under 1 roof Living it tha f*ck up!!!!!!!
And trust me when i say these Japanese folks know how to party hard! They can dance! and there women are fine too! filled with style and swag the club was rockin! We took the stage about 2am after DJ SUGI had the building rockin! An introduction and it was on! (Check the myspace pic's myspace.com/djginyc and Video)
Taking the stage the crowd was hype! over 1000+ ppl and it was poppin when BV hit the stage (Check my Myspace.com/djginyc for more pics and video).....
After 45min on stage the VIP for my homies was an order! Myself i hit the Wheelz and got it poppin! but just in case you thought it wasnt poppin...just peep this pic of the VIP...NO HARD LEGS JUST SOFT TAILS ONLY!
meanwhile i managed to snap this photo from the turntables on the stage just in case you thought it wasnt poppin!
And after 6hrs of party rockin and bottle poppin as always in Japan we broke day at Yokahama bay Hall!
All in All my trip to Japan the 2nd time around was even better than the first! I met alot of people and i can truly say that the people i have come across in Japan are very respectfull. The country itself from my view is a site to see....Things are new around every corner and the people are very respectfull indeed. Its funny because i find Japan to be a much easier place to live than America....They have there own identity and there own...uhhh everything! Similar to Dubai (My 2nd Favorite Place In the World) The people may see things that we have in America but instead of the lust to come to america they bring it to them...I didnt see much poverty if any in Tokyo and from what a friend of mine who is american from memphis..who has made a life out there and lives in Japan tells me...its a great place to live....and i can see how that can be true! my only complaints or things that takes getting used too is the abundance of SEAFOOD! and im not talking the Occasional Shrimp either! Japan is known for its Sushi which i admit is oooooooooooooooffff the chain!!!!!...but then again i only eat Tempura and Cali Rolls and the occasional Shrimp or Crab whatever that was. But they love there seafood and they will catch a fish out of the seat skin that bitch and cut that mofo into squares and tear that sh*t up!!!! lol.
No worries you still can find WolfGang pucks,Outback SteakHouse, The HardRock and of course Micky D's and oh yeah.....
..and thirst will never be an issue! just about every corner you will find a vending machine with some of the best drinks i ever tastes which are all usually healthy for very cheap......
I would Suggest Japan as a vacation to anyone!!!!!
Yeah the Beaches are cool but they have that too and a city beyond imagination not to mention a really rich history that i have yet to discover in the country side...filled with temples and moantains...I missed that on this trip but i have a feeling this wont be my last visit to JAPAN.
(-Oh yeah please pardon the spelling - im too lazy to go back and fix the grammer etc)
