      First, get rid of the name DrFr3sh. Unless you want to capture a ghetto clientele. You don't want that. Folks paying with DEBIT cards, their grandmom's savings, etc. You (should) want a better clientele, so promote yourself with a better name...perhaps your gov't name.

      I used to go by Legz, and while some of my long-time friends still call me that, I decided that in order to be welcomed by all (esp women who felt funny calling another woman "Legz") I needed to drop that name.

      Then you want to contact a reputable travel agent and/or promoter who can offer you packages and event tickets at a discount. Just a quick Google and you can do your research on most companies. You can sell event packages thru the SET Network (theset12.com)or general vacation packages thru Traverus or another company.

      (Here comes the truth in 4...3...2...brace for the backlash! lol)
      Do not go by the comments on this board. There are two or three people with nothing better to do than to make up several screen names to bash people and events. You do your best on YOUR end to offer your clientele reasonable rates, great accommodations and fair customer service.You tell then to call YOU if they run into any problems. Earn the trust, don't expect it off the bat.

      Make yourself known on facebook or other social networking sites. Make yourself known on meetup.com as well. Meet folks in person. If your family aren't travelers talk to other people you know. Someone's going out of town. lol

      Read up on travel news (blogs, magazines, etc)as much as you visit club or event sites. Bookmark tripadvisor.com to read UNBIASED comments about hotels, locations, etc.

      Get creative. Don't rely on one or two marketing techniques.

      Most of all...DO WHAT IS TRUE TO YOU. IF YOU WOULDN'T PAY X AMOUNT FOR A PACKAGE, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SELL IT TO SOMEONE ELSE? IF YOU WOULDN'T LET YOUR DOG STAY AT THE _______, DON'T OFFER IT TO ANYONE ELSE. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T SIT WELL OR WON'T LET YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT, REMOVE YOURSELF FROM IT AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR CLIENTS. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT COUNT WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE.
