Re.PNG your article written on September 9th 2011.
This is not a back yard gathering. This is for every Papua New Gunieans who live in Canberra and those who live about 2 hours away from Canberra like myself. I make myself time to ring around and approach appropriate officials for information and to be given information to attend. So you can do the same cheers.
exactly like i said, a back yard piss up with relatives.
i have seen no notice whatsoever. where did you and who so ever post that get together? we dont need to ring around to see if there is something put together somewhere?
you so called png high com including you elenora should put something together and notify the rest of the png in this country.
otherwise like i said, it is a back yard piss up for close families of those involved with the high com.
Hi Yenjupo, its open to all the Papua New Guineans around Canberra and across New South Wales. I would like to encourage you to bring your PNG colleagues and friends to participate this special event.
I lived and worked all my life in Queensland due to work I moved 3 years ago to live in NSW.I was very involved in the Papua New Guinea Community in Far North Queensland mainly in Townsville. I endeavour to explore whats avialable with the High Commission especially with the Independent Celebration. The High Commissioner is here for all the PNG Citizens, not for any particular group of PNGs may I say.
Unfortunately I'm unable to participate this year due to work related training this coming friday and saturday. So may I say:
"Happy 36th Papua New Guinea Independence to everyone. May God bless you all".
Cheers
Elenora
