In any dictionary I look in, the pronunciation for potato is "po-tay-to." It is true that that doesn't mean that the guy that says "po-tah-to" is wrong, but it does mean that most people don't say "po-tah-to." When I said "I win" I didn't mean that I was using the word the right way, since there is no "right way." I meant that I was correct that the common usage of infinity was as a number. |
