lately, we haven't had many of those. It's about 30C here this week and sunny with not a cloud in sight (at least where I live in the south). Barbecue weather really. It was much colder in New York when I was there about a month ago.
I think most countries are becoming slightly more Americanised nowadays. I suppose it helps international communications a bit, as now most countries also have (American) english as a secondary language.
However, most countries I go to also have McNuggets and are "loving it". I don't blame America, don't get me wrong, it's more the case of supply and demand and massive media exposure.
I only hope the traditions of the countries that do adopt some Americanisations are kept alive too.
It's sometimes handy though to be in a country where you hate their food and find a BurgerKing or something. hehe :)
