Well,here's a comparison.

Randall Hyde made the Art of Asssembly docs.
It was actually useful in the DOS version which he discontinued and lost my respect.

When he made HLA,he basically made it not real assembly.
You really have HLA which gets turned to ASM which gets linked.

It was why I wanted to write ASM as I hated linkers.
I don't think FreeBasic will ever match QBasic.

If people want bigger stuff,they will either need to learn C or find a better Basic than
FreeBasic.

Maybe they think "People will put up with anything. We can do anything we want since we're not being
paid."
