v1c is all but leaving the project, i don't think he will be working on -lang.

second, if -lang was ever a priority, it would have never become -lang... it wouldn't have become deprecated in the first place...

if you were being realistic, you'd have realized that just making the originally fabled compatibility of fb into a switch (months ago) was ultimately going to lead to it being phased out completely, which (tada) they're already now saying- Yes, it is.

yet you say that could change? what do you suppose the odds of that are? i'd say the odds of fb ever getting closer to qb again are about the same odds of v1c asking me to marry him, and ted running in at the last minute, yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" - but that could change!

fb devs stopped caring about outside wants for fb a long time ago. the point of sj zero's post is they've all but stopped caring about the people inside the loop, too. i suggested the name "basically c" (i don't remember if i was the first to anymore) for freebasic. how about a name that goes better with "ruby on rails..." like: "runaway train"?
