that will certainly help...by mennonite (no login)i'm not against the language being added to. but after TWO YEARS of hype about being the new qbasic, freebasic is CRAP, CRAP, CRAP. i am against BAD changes to a language. also, it would be REALLY nice to have something to run qbasic programs in- in other words, something that can actually handle qb code, instead of: a. hijacking the community based on hype b. bait and switch (oh, okay it's not really compatible... but you don't want it to be, and anyone that does is stuck in the stone age) c. more lies (it WILL be compatiable... with this deprecated switch...) after actually taking a step BACK from 0.15 in terms of compatibility (0.15 is more compatible than 0.16) d. dropping that line (after giving me crap about how wrong -lang made me) before we even got to 0.17- it's not going to be in there. *******s+sloppy work=useless product v1c says "100% compatible or your money back" i want the time i wasted beliving the fbcommunity's lies back. is this possible? only with a language that is actually better than qbasic to save me the time. not freebasic. freebasic is not even a language. maybe someday they will make it into one, but for now they're still just screwing around. but if you're making a tool that can do it in linux, cool. windows? windows is more dead than qb. this time next year: the qbasic on linux forum. formerly the qbasic forum (linux optional) |
