If I thought the sentence would be taken out of context, I would have written

Sorry if you think stalking is a good thing; that would explain why you would want them back: so you can enjoy their attacks. But I hope you agree that stalking is not a good thing; in which case I sure wonder why you want them back.

Maybe it's like the Three Stooges comedies. They slap each other around and we laugh.

I don't see that act as funny if some of the stooges didn't want to be included.

Anyway, to make it even more clear, since it was evidently confusing: here is what I did NOT say or intend to say:

"Mennonite is a sadist who enjoys seeing people embarrassed and insulted". I am convinced that that is false and never harbored such a thought.

As Clinton would say "Depends on what you mean by "if".
