| much like the sun we see is years older than the actual sun, or when you buy a new vista computer and it's already incompatible with everything, the things we touch, see, hear, smell, take a very small amount of time for photons to bounce from them, for the sound to travel through the air, and for your brain to move the input around in your neurons.
thus everything you experience is actually in the past. the present, like zeno's arrrow, is always a fraction of a second out of reach. we never experience anything new, just recycled events that happened half a moment ago. time travelers, ho! greetings from just before now, this is a message sent to the future from the past. |
