Wall Street?by Ben (no login)I didn't see that you edited your post. I'm thinking this wall street is the market for the stocks and stuff? I don't see how this affects normal people because it is the government that controls the taxes as far as I know. I don't see the stock market people as theives because the stock market is like a game I think. Like this madoff, he tricked people and got lots of money, but it is only the rich people that gave him the money and they were probably playing the same game. If they were predicting the graph to go up and put their money in, but the graph went down and they lost money, I see this not too different then them losing their money to madoff. A worker like yourself could not get his money stolen from investors. A worker doesn't risk his money like the investor, so the investor should not be upset about money. I was thinking though: I know some people look for patterns and stuff in the graphs. Has it been done that a person opened a fake business and said he found a gold mine or something, and used his own money as fake income to make a fake graph, and all the investors got excited and put all their money in to this business, but there was really no real income or gold, so the guy takes the money and closes his business? He would not go to jail would he? |
