Nearly everyone on this planet worships money you poor excuse for a speed bump along the highway of life. Those who don't are called monks, and live so high up in the mountains, just about no one with any money cares to go up there to bother them. They are the true spiritualists. The rest of us chase the almighty dollar, you and me included.

The passage in the Bible that went something like you can't serve both God and mammon, just meant that if you want to live as a true spiritualist down here, you have to give up caring about money and probably having it. After you get reincarnated enough times, that probably is the eventual outcome. Then you get to be done with this planet, which is primarily about survival at the lowest levels, money at a higher level, and the ability to let go of both at the level where the soul is ready to leave and not come back.
