I saw a 3D movie in a theatre for the first time about a month ago.

Star Wars episode 1. Frankly, I don't think I'll ever bother going to a theater for a 2D movie ever again. (Maybe a few exceptions.) However, as Star Wars was modified to be 3D, it's not quite as good as a movie that is originally recorded in 3D. The Wrath of the Titans preview they played before the movie was awesome.

I believe that the glasses were polarized, but whether circular or linear, I don't know. I would assume circular.

I've been interested in 3D for a long time, at least since National Geographic distributed red/cyan glasses for it's photos from the Mars rover and titanic.

Thanks for the link CK. I've downloaded short red/cyan clips from youtube before, but I'll definitely check out the link. I downloaded the 2D trailer for Wrath of the Titans a few weeks ago, but 2D just isn't the same. (I'm not particularly keen on that movie, but the 3D trailer was very cool.)

Now, where did I put those glasses...

Regards,
Michael
