i just bought starship titanic and am having graphics card problems. i cannot seem to find a patch. all the sites that had the patch have out dated urls. can you help me? thanx.
It's very unlikely that you need a patch unless you have one of the earliest games. We have all the patches on this site.
Could you tell me please what symptoms you are getting, what type of computer you have (Mac/PC, Pentium/AMD, chip speed, RAM etc) and what operating system you are using.

Yes, that sounds like it's a video driver problem, alright. Could I suggest that you update your video drivers and your DirectX installation? There isn't a problem between SST and Windows98, although we do recommend a Full Install of SST in all operating systems because there are known problems with getting it to swap discs on lesser installs).
The patches at this site are all held under the Tech Support button at the top of this page. I'm pretty certain that Riva TNT2 card is not normally a problem card.
I have the same system: a Pentium III 500MHz and a Diamond Viper video card (TNT2 Pro chipset-I thought it was Ultra, but the drivers always detect it as Pro). I'm running Windows 98 Second Edition, with Direct X 8.1. I've tried using various versions of the NVIDIA unified drivers from about version 30 to version 60-something. That's a fair few years of drivers there. I won't use the later ones (the 7x series) because the latest ones don't have the drivers for my card and the second latest one doesn't really work with the computer that well.
Anyway, the result is always the same: Crash to desktop on load. I've performed a full install.
