just the mere mention of them last week angered the gods that the thunder shook the whole house sunday night, then the skies opened and dumped 6 inches of rain, and as things just become dry we have the possibility of 6 more inches tomarro night, lucky for us it's hitting land south and the winds will only be 50 to 80 (hopefully) miles an hour around here

it is raining in Malta too !!!

September 17 2003, 3:40 PM

just had an email from a Maltese friend who is visiting there and he has fallen down the stairs three times because the marble gets slippery when wet!!!

Isobel sounds nasty but i understood that she ws blowing herself out so hopefully things will not be worse than you expect.

Can I have a whisky bottle of Isobel water please - you can forget the bonus bottle of air - we are already the windiest city in the southern hemisphere.

i know people who lost a lot when their basement got flooded, it was thier living room. all their electronics died.
oh well. thats life i guess

Wind blow
Fire burn
Water wash
Time turn

People live
People die
Children laugh
Babies cry

War and peace
Friend and foe
Love and hate
On Life goes.
