Been ages since I've played. Loading first disc into windows xp ona machine that never had game on before. When I press install game it only goes 9% or 57% of getting ready to load setup. I receive a error that cannot decompress some of the neccassary files to install. error 112. Help!

Have you tried to set it to Win98 compatibility?
