Reference Linklist

Thank you - I have been reading a lot about it - I have a very close Maltese friend who has been a great help with books and internet sites and introductions and advice and currency (Maltese Lire are not available in Australia). He went to school with just about everybody - it is a very small place.

There is one especially good site;

Not only a very good pictorial record of the temples but also tells one how to pronounce those unpronouncable names.

He has given me a list of places I MUST see and a list of people I MUST phone.

I'm mostly interested in the temples and the fortifications which he has given me a lot of information about as well - he is a historian and fortifications are his specialty.

Not surprised at the state of the car - the Maltese are dreadful drivers but my friend tells me that they now have to obey the rules of the road.

.. more jealous. Tracing the ancient with a well versed (say so?) friend is really great.
Now I only hope they have internet on that islands to keep us in touch with you...
