Would you believe that I have a very distant relative called:

Francis Frederick Faithful Ferdinand Ford

He has a brother called:

Samson Soloman Slaughter Ford.

Thank goodness my parents called me minnie the pink.

The name game...lol...that's funny minnie!

My two grandmothers named me. My father's mother gave me my first name - the name of her favorite movie star. My mother's mother gave me my middle name - a name from the Bible.

Perhaps that is why everyone else called me Blondie!

To be truthful - my father named me after his favourite grandmother - would you believe that it is not actually minnie la rose?

My father's other grandmother, a fearsome and formidable woman, known in the family as THE GRANDMOTHER was Jane Isabella and as Isabella is the spanish version of my name I guess that I was named after both of them.

We tried tracing my American Indian ancestors, and didn't get too far. I wish I had talked more (and taken notes) to my grandmother about it before she died. It was one of those things I was gonna do and didn't.

One of my SONS-IN-LAW is French !!!!!!!!!

No Braves in the family though - 1619 in Hanover is as exotic as I can get. The rest are all solid English Yeomen of the most boring kind.

Name of Samler. Harman Samler went to England in 1619 and set up as a sugar baker.

I have an extensive family tree for that branch of the family - every last cousin and hanger-on is in it.
