I'm running Windows 2000 and just installed the game. The first screen works fine and I can use the cursor arrow, but once I turn into another room, the cursor disappears. I can still see the new room and the music continues, but I can't do anything because there is no cursor. help! I just want to play!!

the game wasn't made for NT-based windows. You have to run it in compatibility-environment of Win98

It works perfectly in Windows XP - just ignore the final set up stuff about Win95 emulation

It is very nice to see that others managed to play SST on Win XP, but I just can't.

I tried that win98 compatibility thing, but did not help the problem. If I start the game, it sends me back to desktop in 3 seconds.
There is no installed SP2 on my computer.
I also tried to upgrate the game from 1.00.42b to 1.00.42c, but the update file is unaccesable.
