An old broom knows dirty corners best,
So grab one and give your mum a rest.

Old brooms

August 27 2004, 3:41 AM

I've always heard that it's new brooms which sweep clean;
An old broom might be a dirty old has-been;
With failing vision, unable to see the dirt -
And grotty bristles. Long past it, that's a cert.

helping mum

Mum loves hugs and kisses
But what she really loves
Is help with the dishes!

I used to have a kitchen wall plaque with this message on it...lol..I think one of the kids trashed it.

Keep your yard free of doggie leftovers
And your parents will be happier with you and both rovers.
