I'm back onto my main computer; I got tired of waiting for my techie to drop a CD for a virus scanner off to me so I went and did a deal with a local computer shop.

I've not checked it out myself but have been told Grisoft still do a good, free virus killer.

Hi Bilbo - I'll keep that in mind but so far I have only ever been infected by one virus and Norton dealt with it as soon as it was able to identify it.

I have three copies of Trend Micro now - one for each computer because the techie who built the computers put illegal copies of Norton on two of them.

Trend has been recommended to me by two people now and it is certainly busy; it upgrades itself several times per day.
