Valentine's Day tomorrow. Notice how it has been secularised? Once it was
Saint Valentine's Day but sadly the retail trade has taken it over and makes big bucks out of shaming people into buying expensive gifts for their significant others whereas once it was a day to send anonymous cards to people you fancied.
I have been debating whether or not I should send an anonymous card to Robert but I think that his wife is still in residence and she might take umbrage. >>grin<< Perhaps she would go back to her parents' place for good for a change instead of going backwards and forwards like a pendulum.
I'm going out to dinner with Miles which is nice because hopefully that is not a guilt trip but because he wants to spend some time with me. Maybe I'll spend my lunch hour buying something to wear but Mrs Harmon is bound to complain if I take an extra minute over lunch; I suppose that she was young once but I think that she has forgotten.
Today is hot and humid - real shark weather so I'm staying right away from the beach, reading a book. Mandy was going to the beach until I said something about sharks eating for two which was a pretty sick remark but she changed her mind and is doing her washing instead.
