If there is CZ,SZ,ZZ - well, Z is an "softenner". But who said such utterance ?
Why not use e.g. M, or N, or B, or R, or D, or V ...... for softenning instead of Z or S ?
SX could be also SM, SN, SB, SR, SD, SV, .....
ZX could be also ZM, ZN, ZB, ZR, ZD, ZV ......
CX could be also CM, CN, CB, CR, CD, CV .......
