We need to understand history though.
But we need to do this in an objective manner and see
things in a global perspective.
We need to see the causes and effects. And to see how and why historical changes occurred ... and how these changes shaped our attitudes. And
how history has affected our outlooks and perceptions ... AND how these
have been used against us ... by foreign powers and by local dictatorships
which sprung out of the resisatnce to foreign pressures.
Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it.
We Slavs have been repeating our mistakes ... and we have died by
the millions ... have been assimilated by the millions.
And have suffered ecomomic devastation for centuries.
Narrow and ulrta-nationilstic views serve no purpose to us Slavs nor
to anyone in the world. Except those that would exploit us.
