IF YOU ACT IN A CIVILIZED WAY NOBODY WILL TRY TO KEEP YOU OUT. IF YOU HAVE CONSTRUCTIVE PROPOSALS, YOU SHOULD SUBMIT THEM IN A CIVILIZED WAY AND THEY WILL BE PUBLISHED AND CONSIDERED. HOWEVER IF YOU JUST TRY TO DISRUPT CIVILIZED DISCUSSION AND CREATIVE AND CONSTRUCTIVE WORK, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THAT MUST BE THE BALKAN BLOOD IN YOU WHICH HAD DIVIDED UP THE BALKAN SLAVS INTO ABOUT A DOZEN "NATIONS".

in order to go forward with Slovi, according to my opinion, we have to get rid of any kind of Anonimikis of any side.

This forum is not good enough to come to a common goal. Slaviopedia`s approach was very good, but the initiators fell asleep.

Slovianski stole ideas from Slovio and from Slaviopedia, but it is running with high speed to a dead end!

So I kindly ask the Slovio Developers as well as its friends like me to do something!

SLOVIO´s "ciel" is to great to be buried by nationalistic stupidity!!!

WE WILL NOT TRY TO KEEP ANYBODY OUT OF THIS FORUM AS LONG AS THEY ACT IN A CIVILIZED WAY, AND CONSTRUCTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COMMON ALL-SLAVIC LANGUAGE. WE WILL NOT ATTEMPT TO BLOCK ANONYMOUS PARTICIPANTS - AS LONG AS THEY ACT RESPONSIBLY. WE KNOW THAT A SMALL GROUP OF AGGRESSIVE BALKANIZERS ARE TRYING TO DEVELOP A COPY-CAT SLOVIO LANGUAGE (WHATEVER ITS NAME) BUT THEY ARE ATTEMPTING TO COPY WHATEVER THEY CAN WHEREVER THEY CAN WITHOUT ANY CREATIVE AND HARD WORK. IT APPEARS THAT THEIR ONLY GOAL IS TO BALKANIZE OUR MOVEMENT AND TO DO WITH OUR COMMON LANGUAGE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE IN THE BALKANS AND IN OTHER PLACES. ITS A SHAME - BUT WE SHOULD BE AS OPEN AS POSSIBLE - HOWEVER IF WE SEE MISUSE OF THIS FORUM FOR THE CREATION OF POLITICAL, RACIAL, RELIGIOUS OR NATIONALISTIC DISAGREEMENTS WE WILL ATTEMPT TO CONTROL IT. THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANING.

ALTERNATIVE TRANSLATIONS.

IF YOU WANT TO PUBLISH ALTERNATIVE TRANSLATIONS, THEN SPECIFY THAT IT IS AN ALTERNATIVE AND SAY EXACTLY WHAT IT IS, NOT TO CONFUSE PEOPLE AND PRETEND THAT IT IS THE CURRENT AND OFFICIAL VERSION. SLOVIO WILL CHANGE AND CHANGES BUT IT HAS TO BE IN AN ORGANIZED FASHION. AND IF YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE GRAMMAR PROPOSAL THEN PUBLISH THE ENTIRE GRAMMAR (IF IT EXISTS) AND NOT ONLY BITS AND PIECES. WE ALL WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU REALLY HAVE SOME COMPLETE AND CONSTRUCTIVE PROPOSALS, AND NOT JUST "TRANSLATE" A SHORT TEXT FOLLOWING A RULE OF THUMB, WITHOUT ANY PLAN AND WIHTOUT A COMPREHENSIVE GRAMMAR.

A civilised person usually says what he/she wants and then he/she punishes. In this forum, you banned IP's first and now you say what the alternative translations should look like.

A civilised person does steal intellectual property. And a "honest" piratju kopirnik does not complain when his internet address is banned here.

Anyhow, as you also once said, the original is better then the copy.

How is Slovio intellectual property?
Maybe the non-Slavic endings can be considered intellectual property. As they are purely fabricated and non-Slavic. As some of the unnatural non Slavic words like Germania and gramatia. Who would want to copy all of this?

Exactly said. The unnatural endings and non-Slavic word may be considered to be Slovio's intellectual property. But Slavic words and Slavic grammatical features are a common heritage of all Slavic people and neither Slovio, nor any other language that calls itself "pan-Slavic" has moral right to appropriate it.

"Germania" is only understood by Slavs who speak Englisk ....... all Slavs ose Nemecko.

Rusio = Rusia
Bulgario = Bulgaria
Makedonio = Makedonia

so "-ia" all Slavs understand ....... but they do not use Germania
and "-oi" Slavs do not use.

As far as I know only the Slovak Language uses -o ending for countries. The others use -(i)a. So if you write Rusia you have to write Nemeck(i)a.

Rus-io = Russian language!
Who is you to decide what Slavs have to use or not to use?

Concerning Germania, you are very stubborn! PLease consult a Russian and a Bulgarian dictionary to get enlightened!

--------------------------

Oh I see ... no wonder I misunderstood!!
-io is an ending for languages ... how non-Slavic.
So which Slavic language uses this consrtucion?
We all use Nemecki, Ruski, Makedonski, Anglicki and
NOT Germanio, Rusio, Makendonio, Anglio

Who is Slovio to invent unnatural Slavic constructions that Slavs do not understand?

And even for the few languages that use Germania in their "official" dictionaries .... They ALL call the Germans .. Nemci and the German language Nemecki jazik ..... So they all understand Nemecko ... but all Slavs do not understand Germanio and Germania.

SLOVIO IS GROWING AND IT HAS BEEN GROWING OVER THE PAST SEVEN YEARS. BUT IT GROWS AND DEVELOPS NATURALLY IT DOESN'T COPY ANYTHING FROM ANYBODY BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO COPY. WITH TIME IT WILL FIND THE BEST ALTERNATIVE FOR ALL WORDS FOR ALL GRAMMAR. BUT IT IS COMPLETE NOW - YOU CAN USE IT FOR ANY PURPOSE AND SAY WITH IT ANYTHING YOU WANT. BUT TO GET BEAUTY AND PERFECTION NEEDS EVEN MORE TIME - LIKE A GOOD WINE. NA ZDROVIE!

Exactly!!
So ALL Slavs would understand Nemecko and Nemecki jazik better than Slovio's
Germania and and Germanio. Who at first reading would know that Germanio means Nemecki jazik? So Slovio is NOT understood by all Slavs. Actually the construction Germanio would NOT be unerstood by ANY Slav.

Actually it's kind of hard to understand what Nemecko is because the country is called Germania. There is no way around that though...

Yes, but what would be the most understood? Nemec is understood by all Slavs and German is not. So using the root word Nemec might be the best solution?

If Slovio was a good, Slavic looking and Slavic sounding language, there would be no need to "balkanise" the project of a pan-Slavic language. However, Slovio isn't a good language. It's your resistance to changes and improvements which causes the "balkanisation". It's not we who cause it.

Do not show off Gabriel. Slovio is used by quiet a few. Whereas Slovianski, in short a time, "balkanized" itself into at least three "langs" (not at all complet, concerning grammar, vocabularity etc.) used by only three individuals, who do not understand each other.

Believe me I do not agree with Slovio 100%. But your 200% Slovianski will never work! Therefore you are here.

Hi guys. There is no resistance to change Slovio. I agree with you, sooner or later we have to make some changes. Yes I know it is not perfect, but I keep on trying to find the best alternatives... There is no resistance to changes, there is only resistance to quick and not well thought-over changes. Too many changes, back and forth, will cause more problems than delayed changes. Better delay, think over than keep changing every week. Thanks for your patience. Keep on thinking and suggesting.
