Your suggestion seems a bit confusing. How do you say then:

back
backpack
hunchback
backbone
??????????????

NONSENSES.

This is total nonsense :
" spinal-cord - hrebetovi mozok "

------------------------------------------

mozok or mozog is a brain and cannot be a cord. Spinal is not "hrebetovi".

In this example you all can see how big nonsenses could occur when somebody thinks that is the most wise in the world.

And this is only begining - what about next dozens of thousands scientifical terms ???

I've already told you it's not so easy as it seems for the first sight to create the words.

mozok or mozog is a brain and cannot be a cord.

Russian: spinnoj mozg
Ukrainian: spinnij mozok
Serbo-Croatian: kiczmena moz'dina
Macedonian: rbeten mozok

So half of the languages consider a spinal cord to be a kind of a brain.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, but just those who have their brains on back (in spinal cords) and backs (spinal cords) probably in their heads (skulls).

And they are called extra-terrestrials.........

Yeah, it is really easy to construct a language if you proclaim half of your target group to be extra-terrestrials in advance.

Not all but just those who consider spinal cord as a brain.

MARROW = KOSTENI MOZOK ????

marrow - kosteni mozok ???????

-------------------------------------------

You must be funny.....

bone = kost
marrow = the interior of long bones

So, some of you think that what we have inside of our long bones is a part of our brain ? And it is of a bone ?

Sorry, but I've never seen a "boned brain" that is inside the long bones

Maybe, some of you have their brains inside of long bones.......

But they cannot be humans then. Maybe they are some space intruders that want to disturb our slavic society and give us some weird and difficult language.

Russian: kostnyj mozg
Serbo-Croatian: kosztana moz'dina
Bulgarian: kosten moz_k

I don't see a more common word in the dictinaries, so I agree with the iopq's choice.

Yes, you don't offend all Slavs, just a half of them. It's tolerable in your opinion, right?

No, I do not offend anybody but you should first study better what is a brain, what is a spinal cord, what is a bone, what is a marrow and what is a back bone.

You cannot simply mix up apples with pears.

You should just understand that in half of the Slavic languages, mozok doesn't translate as "brain" only, and the other half provides no satisfactory words for "spinal cord" and "bone marrow".

HUMAN BODY PARTS.

If it is like that I wonder how the scientists (doctors) from these countries manipulate with this terminology then. How do they use it when it is not absolutely clear what is what in our human bodies.

And if it is as you write, then we should get these terminology more precise and find some better adequate words for single parts of our body.

Trying to be better than natural Slavic languages only leads to ugly or non-understandable langauges, as Slovio or S-lingva show.

Gabriel, you are always against everything that anybody else proposes.
And you are giving lectures to Slovioists who do not accept when somebody other comes with some ideas. You are the same as they are.

A smart Slovak can figure out what kosteni mozok means. As long as he doesn't think about Slovak, but thinks in terms of trying to understand.

In fact, I could say mozok kompjuternoj programi, which would mean the backend of the computer program. It wouldn't be too hard to try to extend words' meanings.
