Politkovskaia? Can't you use i and j normally (i.e. in the way every Slav knows, just Slovio doesn't) in proper names at least?

Its obvious that you know NOTHING about Russian latin transliteration... You have problem with everything you dont understand...

Generally speaking, the letter in question is transliterated ya in English-oriented transliterations and ja in Slavic-oriented transliterations. I suppose Slovio should either use a Slavic-oriented transliteartion, or finally stop pretending it is Slavic.

I second that. Russians don't use "ia" for "я", only "ya" or "ja".
Having said that - don't fight guys, we are All Slavs here, right?
