The Vandals were an East Germanic tribe that entered the late Roman Empire during the 5th century. The Goth Theodoric the Great, king of the Ostrogoths and regent of the Visigoths, was allied by marriage with the Vandals as well as with the Burgundians and the Franks under Clovis I.

The Vandals are perhaps best known for their sack of Rome in 455. Although they were not notably more destructive than others, the high regard in which later European cultures came to hold ancient Rome led to the association of the name of the tribe with persons who cause senseless destruction, particularly in diminution of aesthetic appeal or destruction of objects that were completed with great effort

I can see that you can copy lines (and lies) from a German wikipedia, written by German "historians" who just wanted to prove their "superiority". In fact Goths was a Roman term for all tribes north of the Roman empire. And the reason why the divided them into two groups Visigoths and Ostrogoths was obvious: they spoke completely different languages, Ostrogoths speaking Slavic language. Thats why all the kings and leaders of Ostrogoths and Vandals had purely Slavic names. Ostrogoth lived between Poland and serbia, in the Danube basin, east of the amber-routes inhabited by and controlled by the Veneti slavs. Check the facts and dont just copy German encyclopedias.

The older the younger ... we are old equally old. But what we are talking about is the truth and the facts, looking for our roots.

The truth is if you are looking for our roots. You will find out that Slavic, Germanic, Italic, Baltic, ... people were talking once a common language.

Mankind was divided by itself. There is just similarity of some words of the most european languages that proves one unified language somewhere north-east of India, Iran and Kazakhstan. Nothing else we can find from that time.
