First comprehensibility followed closely by logic.

Slovio student
I think the most important principle of Slovio is and should remain COMPREHENSIBILITY, followed closely by simplicity and logic. Trying to follow any kind of "logical" rules based on traditional Slavic languages has to be subordinated to these more important rules.

its all open. they can change with time, but we have to have a complete grammar to start with, to communicate ... even though it may not be perfect yet ... with time...

I don't think the -(i)s plural or the other endings like -(u)f,-just,-(e)nek are very understandable
- the same thing we can say about Slovienski.
It is the same as "y" (ypsilon) in czech and slovak languages. This letter doesn't have any denotation for practical usage but it is used (it's one of the nonsenses in these languages)

I bet with anybody that the Slovio plural rule is easier to understand than the Slavic rules!

Indeed. Not that I have ever studied Slovio grammar, but apart from that, I'd guess that -is is a plural and -uf is a genitive plural. Regarding the rest: not a clue!
