Could someone tell me what happen to www.slovio.com site?
Slovio just dissapeared form the Internet, with an error message every time one tries to connect to it... Nothing connects at all, an whatever combination: neither ".com" nor ".org" nor ".net" wants to connect, and swaping to 5 browsers I have doesn't help either... The conclusion can be just two: either an author resigned of his project, and whole his project off, form the Net, Or he's working on new upgrade. This looks somewhat strange, if it was an upgrade, he'd give notice of it to the users, wouldn't he?

The same thing happens when I try to open it. I have no idea what the reason is. I used to come here over that site.

It is not just the Slovio.com website.

This has happened before more than once.
Perhaps it's because Russia and Ukraine have now BANNED public gambling and have closed down all the casinos!!?

This is what I thought myself. Probably the same will happen also to my own site, as I think of changing my service provider. I hope Mr Hucko will perhaps update it a little bit, too, at this opportunity This may explain the little bit longer than necessary time "out of circulation" But just for the case, sometime ago I made already spare copy of whole that site. So if "Nedobri Nemci" would plan to destroy this good Slav initiative, they happen in this case to deal with a little bit more intelligent, forward thinking, and precautions group of people then they could think of... I copied just the main site - but "Slovio Course" is preserved in full, in its entirety: just for the case, as I noticed many good, useful and even very popular sites keep disappearing form the Net every now and then...

I will presume it was Dr. Hucko himself - since it came from the same email address that gave me "Moderator" privileges at Yahoo Slovio.

In my viewpoint, Dr. Hucko is a brilliant man who has offered nothing but positive values and perspectives to the cause of Slavic Unity and Brotherhood - and beyond!
His creation of SLOVIO is awesome. I honor him.

I am the only writer here - there are no aliases. Yes, I may note that a posting is "shared" with Michal, Andrej and myself - because the information posted was a collaborative effort of all three of us. But I am the one who wrote it and posted it on this forum.
Michal ocassionally does post here too; you will well recognize his writing as different from mine.
Andrej also posts here - probably more often than I do; there is no mistaking our identities by our writing.
