Hi. Does anyone know where I can get a performing space so I can have a rent performance/reading? You know, like a rent party, only this would be a reading/performance, of my poetry and spoken word (some of it is memorized). I need to pay the rent by the first. I have no income, I'm waiting for my social security to come in.
Does anyone know of any such space, preferably free?

Hello Nancy or anyone with input,

I am new to the Santa Cruz area and am looking to meet a circle of literary friends to talk, critique, read and write with, etc. What do you suggest? Are their any regular group meetings in town, poetry readings, etc. Thanks for your time.
