MCIA: UFO Reported During Descent Maneuvers

The crew of a Boeing 737-200 reported the presence of an unidentified flying object during descent maneuvers at Mexico City International Airport (MCIA).
The incident occurred last Monday, October 27, at 9:00 p.m.
According to flight mechanic Juan Jose Dominguez, the object was elliptical in shape, resembling an elongated teardrop, which crossed the airliner from the left. He added that the UFO moved at low speed, estimating that its frontal diameter was some 8 meters, roughly that of the airliner's cabin.
The airliner was flying the Los Cabos-Mexico City route. There was good visibility and clear skies.
Witnesses have requested that the airline's name be kept confidential. This report was provided by researcher Alfonso Salazar Mendoza.

Argentina: Strange Object Photographed over Parque Urquiza, Paraná
A resident of Paraná photographed his daugter near Danza de la Flecha. Imagine his surprise when upon enlarging the photo, he saw a strange object in it. Sources from the Oro Verde Observatory say that they will look into the case.
Only days ago, Miguel Angel Osuna went to Paraná's Parque Urquiza to take a picture of his daughter, who will be turning 15, in order use the mural as an image upon which party guests can leave their signatures and best wishes for the birthday girl.
The family chose the rock quarries located near Danza de la Flecha as a background, using the modern architecture of the Maran Suites & Towers Hotel as a backdrop.
They were astonished to learn, upon enlarging the image at a photo shop, that they had taken a picture of an unidentified flying object (UFO). In the image's background, to the right, it is possible to see a small point that raises suspicions upon being enlarged.
In an interview with Elonce TV, Osuna said that "the fellow [at the photo shop] told us there was a strange object in the photograph that was neither a helicopter nor an airplane." The photo was taken on October 21 around 17:00 hours.
Osuna used a digital camera and his father a professional one; the UFO appears in the photograph taken with the first device.
When consulted, Mariano Peter, with the Oro Grande Observatory, pointed out that "whenever strange things are seen in the sky, people ask us. We haven't received any queries up to now." Nonetheless, he stated that the original image should be analyzed to ascertain that it was indeed a physical object, and its type. In this regard, he noted that if anyone saw something unusual on the date that the photo was taken, they should approach the observatory to discuss it.

ARGENTINA: La Rioja UFO Witness Suffers Facial Paralysis
Man reports seeing three UFOs in La Rioja and experienced facial paralysis; says that event changed his life affecting him not only psychologically but also physically.
Witness claims seeing three UFOs over the locality of Villa Castelli; experience left him with facial paralysis
Fernando Guerrero, who was intensely sought after by news media throughout Argentina, stated on radio that he has been feeling very strange since he saw the strange phenomenon.
The event took place on Saturday, October 25, when Guerrero, who drives the only ambulance owned by that community of La Rioja, reached his place of work in fear and told his co-workers what he had seen.
As he drove the ambulance from Villa Union toward neighboring Villa Castelli, he became aware of a significant increase in the light coming from the cell phone he was using at the moment.
Its going to burn up. That was the first thought that crossed his mind, adding that the CD he was listening to at the time suddenly stopped, and a loud squealing sound could be heard.
At that moment three objects moved along in the sky. The privileged witness did not doubt to use his cellphone to capture the image.
I immediately used my phone to take a picture of them, it was lovely, a real spectacle, the driver told his co-workers, who ultimately chose to report it to the local print media.
Now, Guerrero decided to speak to the press for the first time, insisting over and over that he feels different and explains that since the dramatic close encounter, half of his face is numb, exactly in the parietal region where he was struck by the powerful light by the Unidentified Flying Object.
The part of my head that was exposed to the light when the UFO appeared now feels numb and hot, said the man, who refused to say if he received phone calls from scientists and researchers.
It emerged that researchers had tried to get in touch with the witness to the phenomenon to glean details of the sightings as part of the search for new eyewitness accounts for UFO events in this region.
The two latest cases occurred on April 14 and 15, when tourists visiting Quebrada del Condor in Tupungato, Mendoza, and residents of the Riojan department of Arauco, respectively, claimed seeing strange objects in the sky.

Mexico: UFOs Over Tamaulipas

Since October 22, 2008 to date there have been numerous UFO sighting reports emerging from the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The most significant of these are the ones recorded in Ciudad Madero, Tampico and Rio Bravo.
The states Direccion de Proteccion Civil (Civil Defense) has received phone calls from witnesses that are now exceed 50 reports.

The Hechos news program on Television Azteca made the first images known, corresponding to a video recorded by Mrs. Liliana Vazquez
According to the news report, on October 24, 2008, during a ceremony conmemorating United Nations Day , students and teachers of the Venustiano Carranza school in Tampico saw three white spheres in the sky. They argued over whether they were balloons or UFOs, although one student said that the objects resembled two joined plates. Parents were also present during the event, and it was one of them Mrs. Vazquez who videotaped the event.
The same newscast reported that it would conduct an investigation to find out if a private company had launched helium balloons that morning.
Moreover, Mr. Jose Alonso Galicia Fabela, a resident of Rio Bravo, documented the transti of a sphere that appeared to be on a helicopters flight path. This recording is dated October 27, 13:30 hours.
The witness says that he was following the helicopter with his camcorder when he suddenly saw the spherical object, which moved from south to north.
While both videos appear to show the same thing, it should be noted that the cities where they were recorded are quite distant from each other. Rio Bravo is in northeastern Tamaulipas, while Tampico is toward the southeast.

ARGENTINA: Man Claims Seeing UFO in La Rioja (possible CE-2)
A man claimed seeing three unidentified flying objects as he drove his car. He said that his vehicles lights increased in brightness and his car radio turned off. This resident of La Rioja [saw the objects] while driving between Villa Union and Villa Cstelli, where he captured them on his cellphone camera.
According to his story, while driving near the site where excavations are being carried out on account of the Marita Veron case, the lights in his car increased dramatically in their brightness as the radio faded away.
The music stoppped immediately and a powerful squealing noise was heard, said the cars driver. His identity was kept anonymous.
Next, he says that when the luminous object flew overhead I immediately took out my cellphone to photograph them adding that the spectacle was lovely to see.

MEXICO: More UFO Reports from Tamaulipas

CIUDAD MADERO, TAMAULIPAS Over 18 calls have been received at the office of Civil Defense in recent days as citizens report having seen unidentified flying objects (UFOS) accordint to the director of this agency in Ciudad Madero on the Gulf of Mexico.
Roberto Chavez Ortega, Director of Civil Defense, reports that the calls began last Wednesday as several people walked along Playa Miramar, where they claimed to see the UFOS.
In the past 4 days people have been making calls of this nature, claiming UFO sightings, but we havent perceived or seen anything at all. As of Friday, there were 18 calls, but nothing has been confirmed, he said, adding: Calls have also been received over the weekend at our offices.
He added that this is not the first time such a thing has occured in the municipality, which faces the Gulf of Mexico. The majority of these sightings have taken place in the Miramar Beach area, close to an area known as El Tortuguero
Reports have been recieved from the municipality of Altamira as well. Some motorists saw white orbs that moved very quickly near Avenida de la Industria.
This region of Taumalipas has a urban legend that suggests the existence of an underwater base in the Gulf of mexico, which keeps hurricanes from affecting Tampico, Altamira and Ciudad Madero.

Argentina: Fleet of UFOs Allegedly Landed in Chicoana

Strange, deep marks left on three wheat fields. Hundred of witnesses reported the event to the police, but law enforcement gave it little importance.
The marks left on the fields measure nearly one meter deep and are geometrical in shape.
A series of strange geometric marks circular and rectangular allegedly left behind by UFOs that landed on three wheat fields in Chicoana: at Quebrada de Tilian, to the south of the community; at Pulares, to the west, and next to the Las Mesitas Camp Ground to the north. They have become the great mystery of this community in Valle de Lerma, 35 kilometers south of the capital.
The prints appear to have been made by the legs of enormous structures and were seen at dawn last Thursday, after an evening that to hundreds of witnesses was unreal because they were able to see strange lights dancing above the fields in question, although at a given moment, they stopped their nearly-erratic movements and remain suspended at low altitude for a considerable amount of time, after which they took off and vanished over the horizon. This was the description given by perplexed and astonished Raul Martinez, a local resident from San Cayetano, two miles from the Las Mesitas Campground and of one of the wheat fields that was marked with the peculiar cracks.
We saw the first lights with my son around 3 a.m. and tried to film them, but curiously, our cellphones stopped working, as though they had no batteries in them. It was a wild succession of flashing colors that died down and appeared to form part of an enormous framework. I saw this phenomenon for five minutes. Later, whatever landed on the field, the source of the flashes, took off and went away at an astonishing speed. Our cellphones worked normally after that, explained Martinez.
Moreover, students from the Maria Valdivieso Rural School #588 in Villa Fanny, at Quebrada del Tilian, seven kilometers south of Chicoana, also witnessed the phenomenon, which took place at a considerable distance from the northern accessway to the locality. Its characteristics were nearly identical. We tried to phone the police to report what was happening, but our cellphones wouldnt work.
The spectacle lasted around five minutes and no one could record the images because our cameras werent working, said another student. The next day, they discovered the same geometric shapes in one of the wheat fields.
But that wasnt all: six kilometers west of Chicoana, in the vicinity of Pulares, locals also claimed having seen a light show that took place during the same span of time and at the same hour. A seal identical to the other two was left behind here. Impressions measuring a meter or more in depth and of equally unexplained origin.
It is interesting to note that the vertexes of the three affected areas can form an isosceles triangle, so to speak. At the triangles heart can be found the infamous La Candelaria and El Antigal mountains, the scene of three fatal air accidents, all of them caused by unexplained systems failures.
The Villa Fanny shelter school has 100 students. That night, 80 of them were present and all claim having witnessed the luminous phenomenon. Neighbors of the little school say that animals hid when the lights manifested, even though no noise was heard.
Residents of Chicoana as well as numerous tourists pulled up in their cars on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to photograph and look at the strange marks that were left on the wheat field located next to the access road to the town.
Federico Arnaldo Gutierrez, a technician with Nortevision Satelital, a local TV station, was one of the few who crossed the barbed wire fence and inspected the marks. Its very odd. The soil looked like something extremely heavy had landed on it. Wheat was flattened but not cut. There were no signs of burning or anything similar, only the geometrical marks.
Graciela, a biology instructor who also arrived with her camera to take pictures of the figures left behind in the fields, remarked: This area has a wealth of strange phenomena and UFO sightings. Remember that over the past 15 years three aircraft plummeted from the sky and in all cases, the reasons were the same. Their instruments stopped working, just like what happened to those who saw the colored lights on Thursday morning and tried to photograph them, but couldnt because their instruments didnt work.
Authorities with the Chicoana Sheriffs Department did not comment. One law enforcement officer, who asked to remain anonymous because Im about to issue a personal opinion that shouldnt be construed as an official story informed El Tribuno that many remarks had indeed been received about the situation, but no one wants to make a written complaint. In my opinion, all of these marks are the result of wind and rain.
However, after consulting the weather bureau, there was no precipitation or strong wind during previous days or on the days that the events occurred. And should this be the case, why were the marks only on three wheat fields and not all of them, which can be found in the hundreds?
José Silva, principal of School 558, whose students witnessed the events, ventured an opinion: Ive lived here for ten years and had never seen marks like this. I reject the possibility that they were caused by nature or made by someone. Its weird, very weird.
Children living in the shelter also told El Tribuno that those of them with cellphones, and who saw the lights, tried to take pictures and couldnt. My aunt, said Pedro, 13, lives near the school and has a video device. The same thing happened to her. It didnt work, as though its batteries had run out.
Silva adds: I never saw anything like it. If people are saying that the prints were produced by the lights, lets be clear about one thing: lights are weightless, concludes the principal.

According to a report from researcher Alfonso Salazar, an unidentified flying object was reported on October 16, 2008 at 16:15 hours over Runway 5 Left of Mexico City International Airport, very close to the El Penon hill.
"It was disk-shaped and very shiny, reflecting the sun's light...the unknown object was flying over the runway just as a Fokker 100 belonging to Mexico's Click Airlines was taking off," according to witnesses.
Estimates place the UFO at an altitude of 150 meters, highlighting the fact that it moved up and down with irregular movements.
A few minutes later, it headed toward the southern area of the airport in question. The weather was sunny with a few clouds. Witnesses include Daniel Hernandez, Jose Camacho Cuevas, Jose Alvarez and researcher Alfonso Salazar Mendoza himself, all of them aircraft mechanics.
"José Camacho took out his camera, but there was no chance to record it," explains Alfonso Salazar.

Mexico: Another UFO Videotaped over MCIA

On Monday October 6, Lic. Daniel Sanchez Rosales documented a sighting from the city's Moctezuma District close to
Mexico City International Airport.
According to his story, it involved a very strange object that changed shape and even drained the batteries on his
camcorder (a Sony DCR-TRV19).
Eyewitness account follows:
Ever since I taped the UFO at the parade I've kept an eye on the heavens with my camera at ready should anything
come about. It turns out that that day I wasn't paying attention, rather, I was preparing a bucket of cement because
we're doing repairs on part of the house. Even though I didn't have my glasses on, a powerful brightness reached me
from the sky -- an intense glow. Then I looked up and saw a sphere."
I honestly wasn't planning to record it. It was a classic white sphere and I already have many videos like this one.
Furthermore, finishing the job was more important. But something gave me pause and I changed my mind."
I went to get my camcorder leisurely. In fact, I took photos first and then shot video. I never thought that it [the sphere]
would do such strange things. Not only did it change shape and color, it also drained my battery charge. I had 45
minutes and shortly after, the low battery indicator appeared."
I'm convinced that UFOs occupy the air corridors, I don't know why. But it's easy to see them out where I live, which is
near the airport. I've seen them come close to airliners. Many times the spheres become small or vanish as the plane
goes by, and then resume their original shape."
I'll remain vigilant to any future events, and I'm certain that UFO manifestations will continue in this area."

Remarks: On October 4 I was given another UFO recording near the airport. One can conclude that the phenomenon is
recurring in the eastern part of the Mexican capital. Daniel Sanchez's recording reminds me of a personal experience,
when I saw a triangular object picking up a sphere from the hill. The final images in both videos have a certain similarity.

Mexico: UFO at the Tlaltenango Police Department, Zacatecas

Luis Enrique Villegas was taking photos of the new Police Department Building in the town of Tlaltenango (Casa de Seguridad Publica) to the east of this city and in the vicinity of the Zacatecas Sur Technological Institute.
The witness claims to have taken over 20 shots to be used for a photo essay, adding that in only one of these images is it possible to see what could be an unidentified flying object. There is even a close-up that suggests some sort of antenna or appendix on the upper section.
By applying filters, we determined that it is an authentic image without any digital patches or alterations, aside from the fact that Luis Enriques credibility is widely known. It is no coincidence that he edits one of the best newspapers in the Zacatecas region.

The witness did not see the alleged UFO. He only became aware of it hours later, upon reviewing the series of photos on his PC. Nor did he hear any sounds or buzzing that indicated [the objects] presence in the sky.

Mexico: Massive Balloon Launch on September 30

According to a message sent by Lic. Efrain Guzman, hundreds of balloons were launched from various parts of the Mexican Republic on September 30, 2008.
Guzman explains that this was done at the behest of Lic. Jose Antonio Nieto as a call to attention and symbol of peaceful protest against the violence and lack of safety that Mexicans are experiencing at the present time.
The concept of a balloon launch emerged as a consequence of the terrorist attacks on September 15 in Morelia.
"Let us launch a balloon on the morning of 30 September for each of our family members or friends who have fallen prey to delinquency. This is is the name of all Mexicans and a specific political party," adds Lic. Nieto.

Perissé was one of the most active Argentinean military men involved in the field of ufology since 1965, when he witnessed the maneuvers of a UFO over the Argentinean naval facility at Decepcion Island in Antarctica.

Venezuela: A UFO Destroyed by Lightning?

On September 17 of this year, Jairo Esparragoza managed to capture the flight of an alleged unidentified object that appeared to vanish after being struck by a bolt of lightning.
The event was recorded between 6 and 7 p.m. using the camera of a Motorola Motoraz V3 cellphone as the witness drove along the Guarenas-Guatire Expressway in the vicinity of the Buenaventura Shopping Mall in the state of Miranda in north-central Venezuela.
The human capacity for astonishment is unending, was the initial statement that opened Jairo Esparragozas story. He explained that he began recorded the lightning bolts in the sky out of sheer curiosity, following a torrential downpour that drenched the Venezuelan capital and its environs for several hours. He became aware of the strange presence only a few minutes later.
It rained heavily and there was considerable lightning. This drew my attention, and as I was stuck in traffic, I began recording what was going on. But after a while, I was able to see one or two orbs suspended in the sky through the telephone camera.
Startled by what he was seeing through the screen of his cell phone, Jairo Esparragoza stopped focusing the device skyward to concentrate it directly on the strange phenomenon, but was unable to see anything. However, upon resuming focus, the object became visible once again on the mobile phones screen. I wasnt able to see it with the naked eye, but when I trained the camera on it once more, there it was, suspended and motionless. I checked to see if it was a light post and it wasnt. It wasnt the camera either, he explained.
The situation remained thus for several seconds, and Jairo Esparragoza, seemingly the only witness to this unusual scene as it played out in the rush-hour tumult common to that time schedule between Caracas and Miranda, still couldnt believe what his cell phone camera was picking up.
Suddenly, a lightning bold struck close to the UFO, causing its apparent and final disappearance.
Even though there was only a little bit of power left in the cellphone, I kept recording and after a few seconds, a lightning bolt struck and the object vanished immediately from the sky, he stated.
The still images drawn from the video show how this lightning bolt quickly chances color when it approaches the UFO, changing from bluish white to pale violet.
An analysis was performed on the stills taken from Jairo Esparragozas video shows that there was no trickery involved and that it possibly shows a technological device of unknown aspect and behavior, discarding the possibility of airplanes, helicopter or other known aircraft.
In the opinion of Jorge Luis Figueiras, a specialist in digital content for the Fundacion Argentina de Ovnilogia (FAO) presided by Luis Burgos, theres not much that can be done with these photos, since their resolution is too low (0.025 megapixels). He added, however, that after increasing the resolution level on the image, he was able to see two apparent objects that remain visible in several frames, where they can be seen as luminous and with a spherical shape.

Mexico: Possible UFO During Mexican Military Parade

A video taken by Lic. Daniel Sanchez Rosales over Mexico City on September 16 [2008] during the air show that conmemorated the 198th Anniversary of Mexico's independence from Spain.
The equipment used was a Sony DCR-TRV190 camcorder
While we are not altogether dismissing the possibility of a logical explanation, it should be noted that the object descended and then ascended again on its own.
UFOs have been recorded during air shows in past years.

ARGENTINA: The Santa Rosa Pig Mutilation

In the morning hours of Monday, May 19, 2008, a small farm located some 15 kilometers northeast of the locality of Santa Rosa was in a stir as several nervous pigs and their piglets were being placed in a truck for an early morning transfer to another field.
At daybreak, the farms occupants were stunned by the scene that confronted them: only a few meters away from the vehicle, they found one of the sows and her young, displaying deep incisions and with no apparent explanation as to how they managed to jump over the 1.80 meter tall siding that surrounded the truck.
The pig farmer contacted Quique Mario of CEUFO and the undersigned as well, and we visited the location. We are displaying photographs of the pig as well as a video that presents other details. At first sight, the incisions are completely different from the ones reported as part of UFO case histories in this region. They are not mechanical and appear irregular under the microscope. The entire rear section of the sows skull was missing, along with muscular mass and a piercing incision in the area within the legas, as well as strange scoring from what appear to be claws. Regarding this last detail, the pig farmers son found some strange prints similar to those of a ñandu or ostritch. He and his cousin photographed them with their cellphones.
This animal has been sent to veterinary experts. We shall be forwarding a report on the results shortly.
We compared photographs with our friends from VISION OVNI, comparing the characteristics of our strange case with one that occurred only days earlier in the city of Rosario.
A priori conclusions lead us to believe that the entities operating here are different from the ones that the case histories had presented us with.

A Sheep Mutilation Report from the City of Rosario, Santa Fe Province, Argentina, March 24, 2008

The case occurred on the premises of a marine company that does barge construction and repair work, located near the old facilities of the Swiff packing plant. The premises border on the north with a unit of the Naval Subprefecture, on the south with the Saladillo Creek and on the east with the Parana River.
The events took place on the evening of April 23, 2008 according to information furnished by Mr. Claudio Petri, watchman of the premises. Before leaving his shift at 20:00 hrs, he saw the sudden motion of what he defined as "a shadow" through his office window. When he went out to investigate, he saw nothing unusual. When the shifts changed, he turned over his post to his relief and went away.
Matters developed normally until 02:00 hrs., when then watchman saw a shadow through the window. Arming himself with a pistol for protection, he went out to investigate. He headed toward a light panel located between the vessels. At that location, he saw a shadow facing him, and according to the remark he later shared with his co-workers, he heard a voice that said: "Mátate" (kill yourself) over and over again, imperatively. At that moment, his wife reached the site (she had been keeping him company during the late shift) and she managed to pull away the gun that the watchman was pointing at his head. At no time did the wife see or hear any of the things reported by the watchman. Returning to the office, the watchman headed for the restroom, babbling "kill yourself" over and over. When the officer-in-charge arrived, he asked the watchman to taka few days off, in view of the state he was in.
Our witness, Mr. Petri, remarks that upon entering at 06:00 shift on 04/24/08, his co-workers apprised him of what had transpired the night before, adding that the sheep they kept at work had also died overnight. Upon seeing the animal, he became aware that it was a highly unusual event. The specimen was missing its upper lip and upper front teeth; its entire right eye was gone, along with the front right leg and muscle mass ner the upper joint nearest the body, forming a hole with a depth and diameter greater than 10 cm. Also gone were its right rear nipple and anus. There were signs of hair sheared off in the areas affected by the alleged mutilation, similar to the shaving done during animal sterilization surgeries, but missing all types of fur (sic). There was no tearing of the muscular mass, broken or splintered bones.
Also noteworthy was the fact that there was no sign of a struggle or defense on the part of the animal. Despite the magnitude of the phenomenon, there was no blood spilled on the floor, or traces of blood on the animal itself, or any sign that it was dragged. Even more surprising were the prints found at the site, which were photographed by the witness along with the mutilated carcass. The prints were approximately 15 cm long and have a rear base of support (the point of support that sunk 2-3 cm into the sandy soil) with a front part consisting of three fingers ending in nails or claws. The middle part of the print is not perceptible. The distance between one print and another is of approximately 50 cme. Following the corresponding analysis, it was determined that whatever left the prints walked erect and measured between 1.80 to 2 meters.
We consider this case to be very important by virtue of having occurred within the city limits, along with the chance to have found the "prints".

Argentina: Pig Mutilation in Victoria

The animal turned up with half of its face mutilated. There are no signs of violence in its pen, nor any bloodstains. The animal is alive. This case can be added to the cow mutilation cases discovered this morning in the town of Antelo. UFO researcher Silvia Perez Simondini is analyzing the event.
The Enrique family, residing on Avda. Esteban Lone, Barrio de la Abadia, was startled this morning when they awoke to find their pig had had half of its head mutilated. The animal was in perfect shape last night, according to the family. However, around 7:00 a.m. this morning, when they went to feed the animal, they were startled by its mutilated features.
The animal, a 6 month old porker, was locked in a small pen, walking around and showing no signs of violence or bloodstains. It did not complain, and half of its jaw was mutilated to reveal its teeth; an ear was also missing. This case is added to reports involving mutilated cows in Antelo. UFO researcher Silvia Pérez Simondini is looking into the case.

Argentina: Mutilated Cow Discovered East of Santa Rosa
A dead and mutilated red Heresford cow was discovered some 45 km to the east of Santa Rosa on August 25, 2008, in the locality of Uriburu.
The owner of the rural propert indicated that the cow was in its last months of pregnancy. The animal was missing all of its udders and half of the cows unborn calf was still inside the cow, adding that the calfs ears showed signs of having been mutilated.
It should be noted that numerous mutilation incidents have occurred at this location since 2002, and these new episodes have been a source of concern to the cattleman. He requested that his identity be kept confidential.

ARGENTINA: A Mutilated Dog in Cordoba

The case was qualified as a true oddity by the foremost experts in cattle mutilation cases, on account of the neatness of the incision. This is a case that occurred in late July, but which remained unknown until now, involving a dog from the locality of Villa Giardino, Cordoba. The animals carcass presented strange claw-marks and surgical manipulation. The mysterious event can be linked to dozens of similar situations recorded in several provinces over the past few months, resulting in a permanent state of alert within the UFO community.
The incident involving the mutilated dog became known through a report from residents of Villa Giardino itself, who went as far as to file a report with local police authorities in the light of the exceptional quality of the situation. This was followed by a court-ordered investigation that included detailed analysis by a team of local veterinarians. Furthermore, contact was made with the specialist from the Vision OVNI Group.
Andrea Pérez Simondini, a respected member of this organization formed by researchers of UFO-related phenomena and paranormal subjects, said aside from UFO sightings, the trend in 2008 has clearly been the discovery of mutilated animals, mirroring the peak number of cases recorded in mid-2002. Fortunately, we have a large number of experts and scientists committed to studying mutilations. They even work with a fixed protocol that enables them to react swiftly and not lose valuable evidence, which is the only thing that can lead us to the truth.
Regarding the case of Cordoban dog, Simondini wrote a detailed report to which Expedientes Secretos was given access: The animal was discovered on July 29, when the local police became involved in the matter, and the case was forwarded to the veterinarian clinic of Dr. Maria del Rosario Ahumada. According to Simondini, veterinarians advised us of the events, clarifying certain points about the canines death. They told us that the animal died from natural causes. The dogs owners had been aware of its death the day before, but there had been no incisions performed on the body. On the 29th, the animal was found with visible incisions, which left local residents bemused.
As far as the details of the necropsy on the animal, Simondini pointed out that the carcass presents an incision measuring 16 centimeters in diameter on the right rib cage with no extraction of organs, adding that the expert believes that it was done in a single act, causing a rupture of the diaphragm (in the separation of the abdominal cavity and the thorax) as though a socket punch had been used, and its action caused the aforementioned disruption of the diaphragm.
The researcher also said that according to the operations results the dog has an incision between its 6th and 9th ribs, whose ends appear as though filed down in the visible ends of each nail, while in turn leaving a square with regard to the incision. It should be noted that the incision on the rib did not occur at the joint.
Adding further mystery to the case, Simondini stated that the veterinarian believes that the absence of three ribs are due to the use of a small saw, with a technique that he classifies as very good and masterfully executed.
The incisions were flat, but when informed that serrated cuts had been observed in other cases, the veterinarian believed that he could identify similar cuts in the dog, undertaking to provide a more detailed report in this regard.
As to what was described as perforations to the body, the expert explained, these were drops and stains of blood on the fur. No perforations, hematomas or any alterations other than what was described in the cut, were present. He mentioned that there are no injuries to be found on the opposite side of the animals carcass, or on the face or muzzle.
Concluding her report, Simondini maintains the veterinarian did not seem to have a clear opinion on what caused the animals injury, but emphatically stated that he was unaware of any similar cases, and that he dismissed the possibility of involvement by carrion animals from the area. He was emphatic about the use of a cutting element that he could not define, as it was unknown to him.
It would now seem that the mutilation enigma has extended down to dogs.
