Lads, if this works, there'll be pics of most pages in a recent acquisition. Note the slick M versions of 35 and 50. The enclosed price-sheet indicates DM21.00 for Model 15 up to 190.00 for the 50M (no ideer what the conversion was at the time). Stamp on the cover from 'Wiesbaden Rod and Gun Club, Wiesbaden Area Command US'....enjoy!
Mike, I'm sure you noticed the 'a' rifles have the elegant heavy open rearsight, but they also sport the rotating front sight ('sternkorn') with four element choices inside the tunnel. Strangely, there's no mention of what type of wood is fitted to any of 'em (my slightly later 50 M has dark-stained beech).
It's always seemed to me that the German market was sensitive to much smaller variations in features and price than we are here, and this catalog certainly reinforces that. It looks like the only difference between the "a" and "b" versions of the 35 and 50, is that the latter adds the peep sight attachment and rear mounting rail for that wonderful rear sight.
