I think that would be the total displacement of the cylinder.
PI times the radius Squared times the height
the height would be the distance from the front of the piston with the gun cocked to the front of the piston where it stops when fired.
this is just off the top of my head but I think that is what you mean.

Am I doing this right for say a RWS52 = 61.5 CM
PI x 28 x 28 x 100= 24650085
how do I get to 61,5 CM

Here are the calculations. Pi 3.1416 X radius 1.4 cm X 1.4 cm X stroke 10 cm = 61.575. You were using the Diameter instead of the Radius and you were using millimeters instead of centimeters.
