The model 35 was made from the early 1950's to about 1983. It has a leather piston seal, no safety, and shoots around 700 fps in .177 cal. It is a very good-handling, pleasant-shooting, accurate, and durable gun, and weighs a little over 7 pounds.
The model 34 replaced the model 35, and is still being made. It is a much more powerful gun, somewhat longer and heavier, with synthetic seals and a safety mechanism. It shoots around 850 fps in .177 cal. Because of the power it is harder to cock and less pleasant to shoot than the old 35, but is very popular and has a good reputation for power, durability, and accuracy.
The model 36 is simply a model 34 action with a different stock, as are the current models 38 and 45.
The photo shows a .22 cal model 35 with target sights, made about 1960.
