Guys, I have a Diana 50M underlever air rifle which I needs some parts for.
If anyone has a complete 50M in their collection, I would like some closeup pix and measurements of the stock area from the second barrel band where the sling attaches forward.
My stock is broken and missing the last 9 inches of the stock. It is broken just forward of the underlever catch. I have the second barrel band with loop for the leather sling.
I need close-iup pix and measurements of the area from the second barrel band forward.
I need the sling and forward barrel band but dont expenct anyone to have one for this very old gun.

Guys if you can help me out with digital pix and measurements of this part of the gun, it would be a great helpo.

Can anyone recomment a stock maker who could make a new nine inch piece for the stock? Preferably someone in the west Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming area as I dont want to mail the gun off due to rarity.

I'll tell you what, If You can tell me which finger I'm holding up I'll make you a deal. You wait until the weather warms up, and make the drive down here one weekend, and providing we can find a donor I'll cut you a new one, and you can do a write up on the whole process. The guys told me you write about stuff sometimes ? ;^)LOL.

This isn't the same of missing the sights, is it? You went and found a parts gun and now have decided to restore it? Ok, I will at least measure mine tomorrow. And get my camera up and running.

Reread your message. A 50M is not the same as mine. Will get pix for your 50E sights, anyway.

These aare Dianas missing a very few parts.
One is a very eaarly 1950-55 eraa Diana 50 underlever (the key is the rear sight does NOT have windage adjustment. This is the one I need a front sight for (held to baarrel with dovetail.

Second gun is an earlier Diana 30M underlever which you will find pictured in fourth edition Blue Book.

If you have one, please meaasure the stock just forward of second barrel band to front barrel band widths and lenghs-I believe it will be about 6-7 inches, myuu stock is missing that piece. The gun was made 1935-1940 according to the Blue Book.
