I'm hunting whith a diana 20t01. I rarely have a head shot opportunity, so i need the most punch as possible. this his the answer!
(note: not good for the barell. use an old or low price gun, you don't want to break it)

you need:

torch or heat gun
flat table
book
knife
alluminum paper
pellets 7.9 gr.
needle or pointer
how to do it:

1: melt 2 pellets (in alluminum paper) together with the torch.
2: put it on the table (once it's cold) roll the book on it a couple of times till it fits in your barell.
3: cut the top and bottom of the cylindrical pellet (both ends needs to be flat)
4: make a hole in the reer end of the pellet with the needle(lead)

Finaly, you have the heaviest pellet in the world (close range uses only, good for hunting, bad accuracy) labattb 50

Making Pellets into,mini shotgun shells

March 17 2005, 10:44 PM

A Handy Idea But Will it Work????..It would work better with 25 cal+ but not .177 TOO SMALL.... I am going to try to make 22 cal hunting pellets ..Here is my scheme....Waddcutters would be easiest,, and the diameter in the cavity of the cone of which ever brand or style of pellet you use will determine the size of the drill bit...drill threw the inside of the bottom of the cone of the pellet...threw the front completely...lay (10 or more) of the pellets you drilled threw onto a glass table or household mirror front (drilled side) down...You now need a plumbers (or any)wax candle and some #12 or (#15 is better) chillshot..drop a couple or several (whatever fits)threw the cone, don't top off,..Now with the cone tip filled threw to the start of the back cavity,, melt and drip the wax into each pellet almost filling the bottom cavity (Do not top off) You now have some mini shotgun shells ..

Tried glueing the heaviest .22 round ball into the skirt of the heaviest .25 pellet. Now I have airgun slugs !! (for short range of course)

I don't know, but........

...........aren't you going to eventually damage the spring using pellets that are too heavy? This is not like a powder burner where you can, to some degree, go up in bullet weight without harming the gun. Pellet weight is only so much, anyway, without velocity. Shot placement is everything. If you need more ooomph, get a bigger gun. Works every time.
