Have any of you guys used a scope mounted laser pointer and light for night shooting? I have a M48 with a cheap 30mm BSA scope. I like the gun and scope, it works well, but it seems like all of my vermin only come out at night and then the scope is almost worthless. It seems like a laser pointer would help. Any thoughts???
I have shot a laser mounted on a Beeman P3 pistol and was able to pick off bottle caps from 15 yds. I also know of a guy who has one on a rifle and he uses it at night for rabbits. It works for him. Hope this helps.

What laser did you use on the P3 and how did you mount it? I've got a cheap BEC red dot on mine now but a laser might be worth playing with. By the way, I've got a Holosight on my 46M and it is just an outstanding combination.
Hi,
The P3 is not mine, But know the owner real well and get to shoot it often. The laser is a BSA from WalMart. And came with two diferent size rail mounts. IT works ok but I have seen better ones. The dot size of the beam is probably half inch. The laser is mounted on the top of the pistol. But I see they make one that mounts on the trigger guard which I think would better on a pistol.
