Barrel length only difference between RWS24 and RWS24CApril 3 2005 at 2:45 PM | JohnKT (Login JohnKT) from IP address 70.112.106.55 |
| - I was wondering if the only difference between TO5 versions of the RWS24 and RWS24 Carbine was the barrel length? Are the stocks exactly the same size/length?
I have a TO5 RWS24C and it is somewhat muzzle heavy, almost to the point of being uncomfortable for me to shoot offhand. The regular long barreled TO5 RWS24 must be REALLY muzzle heavy if the only difference between it and the TO5 RWS24C is a longer barrel. If so, I'd imagine that I wouldn't really like the long barreled version for offhand shooting. Can anyone who has both the long barreled and carbine versions of this rifle confirm any of this? I'm considering getting a TO5 .22 cal. RWS24 and would like to know ahead of time if it is a lot more muzzle heavy than the RWS24C.
Thanks,
John |
