I traded the 90th anniversary model I had away and now I would like another.  I have an eye on one but would like to know what you guys think of them, their value, and anything you guys might know about the early eighties models.

Thanks in advance,

Harv

the REAL Diana 45

An excellent gun--powerful, reliable, accurate, hard-shooting, and nice-looking. Most people who have them love them, which is why you don't see this rather common gun for sale too often!

They do have a reputation of being rather hard to work on, but then they seem to seldom need service if decently cared for.

Diana 45

Hi Harvey:
I have a 1984 version and all I can say is this is the best Field gun I have owned. I have been shooting Diana's since 1985 (the list is long) and this is without a doubt the nicest shooting one yet. I purchased it as a new old stock gun and it needed serious lube work when I recieved it. It is a straight forward gun to work on but be careful when reinstalling the piston seal. As you know this is a big gun but as far as I'm conserned it has a great trigger and the weight makes it easier to shoot accuratley. Someone would have to pay dearly to get mine away from me. As a matter of fact, I am considering adding one or more to the gun closet.
Chris

Posting pictures

April 27 2005, 4:28 PM

There are several web sites that offer FREE picture hosting. I use photobucket.com.

Then when you post a message, you simply copy-and-paste the URL for the photo while you're typing. When you post it, the pic shows up like magic.

I haven't fooled with Network 54's cumbersome photo setup in some time, and as these nice old model 50's demonstrate, posting photos is fast and easy this way.

Congratulations Harvey. In my opinion you have purchased a great gun. I was just shooting mine today and always end up with a few less sparrows on the Purple Martin houses.I have been shooting Crosman wadcutters with great results.
